Course Prerequisite:    Analysis I (Math  251) with a grade of C or better.  Encouraged to also have a grade of C or better in Principles of Mathematics (Math 180).

Announced quizzes will be given at the discretion of the instructor.
Homework will be assigned daily and should be done prior to the next class period, unless otherwise stated.  Some homework problems may be collected and graded.  You should be prepared to share with the class your solutions to the homework problems.  You are expected to present the solution to at least one homework problem during the semester.
Note:  Any questions regarding points on an exam, quiz, or graded homework must be resolved no later than the third class period after it is returned.  If  there are less than three days remaining in the semester you must resolve questions before the final examination.

Class Attendance Policy:

Attendance counts as part of the recitation portion of your grade determination; more than three unexcused absences will lower this percent by .5%.

Making up tests:  You are strongly encouraged to be present and on time for each scheduled exam or quiz.  There will be no make up of a missed quiz.  A missed quiz will not be counted against you if you obtain an official excused absence from the Dean's Office.  A missed hourly exam can be made up if you obtain an official excused absence.
Late Graded Homework assignments will be penalized if not turned in within 10 minutes after the beginning of the class that it is due.  No late homework assignment will be accepted after the class period that it is due.  The missed grade homework assignment will not be counted against you if obtain an official excused absence for the date that it was due.
